– Jazzpreisträger Brandenburg 2026, wow! Three new improv releases, the commissioned composition ‘Zusammen halt’ to be performed by Ensemble Quillo at Intersonanzen Potsdam June 6th.
– there is a new, special four-generation project as a Paul & Carla Bley Hommage: ONQ (Old & New Quartet) w. AW (g), Jan Lukas Roßmüller (p), Meinrad Kneer (b) and the great Bill Elgart on drums – plans for a production at DLF in Cologne in 2027 are in the works.
– in November 1981 I made my solo debut at the Total Music Meeting in (West-)Berlin’s Quartier Latin.
